Hi there crafty friends, After sharing the recipes of Texture and Embossing Pastes last time ( haven't you checked it out already?! Check it here- I thought why not reveal my recipe for homemade Gesso. Gesso is basically a primer, used over canvas and cloth bases. It reduces the amount of paint required to cover the canvas as it covers the garin pores, which results in a more smooth painting. Can you appreciate the texture of the gesso in the pic below?; Now, the recipe goes like this 1. Plaster of Paris- 1 cup 2. Wall Putty- 1 cup 3. White glue- 1 cup 4. White paint- 1 cup 5.Water- to adjust consistency To check how I made it, click the link below
youtu.be/-UYubaPytgA I'm sure you'll never have to buy this expensive product off the shelf again. Do let me know how it worked out. See you soon, Bye:)
