Hello, crafty friends! I'm super happy to share a project with you guys for Clever Dexter Challenge#20 - Use a Stencil! La Casetta Sulalbero di Chicca is the lovely sponsor for this month's challenge and I'm using her Bunny Summer Digi stamp. It is adorable! Stencils are so versatile and fun; and I made this card inspired by my memory at the pool... Let's see how I made it! To begin, I started with creating the pool; I mean the background, LOL! I used Little Birdie Irregular Dot Stencil with Broken China Distress Ink and blended it over a white card panel. Then I turned the stencil 90* with Peacock Feathers Ink and blended and then finally blended with Mermaid Lagoon Ink after turning it further by 90*. To fill the white vacant spaces, I used Tumbled Glass Ink and gave a light handed smooth blend; and my pool was ready for the bunny to play in! The main image was copic colored and then fussy cut, and then adhered to the background with foam squares. For the sentiment, I used SSS Painted Enjoy word die and die cut it twice through white and violet cardstock scraps. I glued them off-centered to the panel and then added this panel to a violet card base. For finishing touches, I added a few Grey-white half pearls, and my card was done! Take a closer look at it, I hope you will join this Clever Dexter Challenge!

ALOHA! Hope your week is up to a good start. Today, I'm creating for the INSPIRATION STATION Challenges, and the theme is so playful, and I came up with this idea of using multiple diecuts as a background. Let me give a tutorial for you all; Starting with a white card panel, I ran it through my big shot to emboss it with a star confetti die. This gives more out of the die you have on hand! Next, I used a cupcake layering die and die cut several of all the three layers using different cardstocks. I put the frosting and the liner atop the base piece and prepared all the cupcakes first of all. Then, I positioned them all over the star embossed panel uniformly. I had to even cut them in half for proper coverage. For the sentiment, I white heat embossed it over blac cardstock and fussy cut it out, and then attached it over the frosting of a cupcake! Then I affixed this panel to a black card base and my card was done! I hope this technique inspires you to use your dies in cards as backgrounds. Also, don't forget to participate in this challenge. Share your creations AND DON'T FORGET TO... Keep crafting! The products used are:-
1. X-CUT BIRTHDAY PARTY DIE 2. PRIMA STAR CONFETTI DIE 3. MUDRA HAPPY BIRTHDAY STAMP Hello guys! Today, while re-organising my stamp rack, I came across several of the mini 3x2 stamps and I pondered that these are so versatile yet they are given a little less attention than the regular sized ones, and so I thought I should use them more often and made two different card using the same stamp. I chose the theme from the current INSPIRATION STATION Challenges. Have a look, Starting with the first one, I stamped the crayon image multiple times over some colored cardstocks, stamped with the cute smily and die cut them out. Next, using a long piece of foam tape, I adhered them in rainbow order. Then I directly attached it to a white A2 card base and finished it with the sentiment from the stamp set, and my card was complete! For this card, I used oval dies to cut a black oval and a smaller white oval. Then, I stamped the sentiment over the white smaller oval. Next, I foam mounted the two ovals and to a white A2 card base in an oblique fashion. Now, for the color pop, I added the die cut crayons all around the oval; but I noticed that the spacing was too much and so I stamped the blank between the die cut crayons with the same crayon stamp with the colors coordinating the adjacent crayon die cut. There you have two takes of a single mini stamp set! I hope thess cards inspires you to create using our beloved 2x3s... Also, don't forget to participate in this challenge, share your creations and comment down below and I'll catch you soon again... Keep crafting! The products used are:-

2. LAWN FAWN COLORED CARDSTOCKS 3. SIZZIX FRAMELITS OVALS DIE 4. COLOR PHILOSOPHY DYE INK PADS Hello my dear crafty friends! Clever Dexter Challenge #20 is on and the theme is "Use a Stencil" And whenever I see a technique challenge, I try to think out of the box and so, today I'm have a card with a fun element to it - foiling! Le'me show you how I put this card together. This challenge is sponsored by La Casetta Sullalbero di Chicca and I'm using her Chicco Space Digi stamp To start with, I used Lawn Fawn Starry sky stencil and applied Versamark clear embossing ink upon Mudra Midnight blue card panel using a blending tool, and I heat set Sticky embossing powder by Ranger. Using a laminator, I applied Heidii Swap Gold Foil over the panel and that gave a brilliant shiny starry night sky backdrop. For the planet, I simply took Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs Distress re-inkers and created a watercolor panel, which I then cut using Lawn Fawn Hillside border die and glued at the bottom of the foiled backgroud. For the images, I fussy cut the copic colored characters and placed them over this panel to create a scene, leaving space for the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Beam me up stamp set. I hope you will try making a card like this using stencils in more creative ways...
