Hi lovelies... Hope your week is off to a good start! Today, I've got an amazing project - a good-luck card for the exam takers... The theme for the Clever Dexter Challenge #18 is fav technique, and for me it has to be tone-on-tone effect and I also added a spotlight effect for a fun twist! Oddball Art co. is our lovely sponsor and gifted their Back To School Creepy Cute Chronicles digi stamp to use for this Clever Dexter Challenge. Let's see how I made it! I used cream color card base and Prima color philosophy Linen dye ink pad to stamp little books and coffee mug images from the Den Sweet Den stamp set from Lawn Fawn. The pencil image from the digi stamp was colored using copics and then fussy cut out. The scribble of the pencil is a piece of thread from the Sizzix Ornaments #3 die. For the sentiment, I used the 'good luck' from Lawn Fawn My Lucky Charm stamp set, hwite heat embossed on black cardstock and then used Altenew Featured Sentiment Die set to die cut it out. I wish all the students good luck and hope ya'll do wonders... I hope you will join this Clever Dexter Challenge! Spread kindness, spark your creativity and grab a couple of Oddball Art co. digis (though not required to win), and make something awesome today! Thank you so much for joining,
Keep crafting...

Hi everyone! I have an amazing news to share with all of you! I'm super happy to be a part of La Casetta Sull'albero di Chicca team! It's in Italian and it means - The house on the gem tree! Interesting right? And today, I'm sharing a cute card with you all as my first DT project, Yay! I'm using the surfer boy from the new Surf grain digital stamp created by Sabrina, which you can find on her Etsy shop. To start with, I colored the image with my Copic sketch markers and then fussy cut them out without any white border and then for better finishing, used a black brush tip pen to color the edges. Then, I took a blue cardstock and die cut several waves out of it using a big shot and wave dies, and also added a little ink blending for depth using distress inks. Using orange watercolor patterned paper, I created a summer sunlit sky and added the waves over it. Using a border die, I die cut this out and then added it to a black A2 card base. Now, using foam squares, I attached the surfer boy atop the waves, added the sentiment, drew some birds in the sky, and finished the card with a few clear iridescent sequins. I hope my card inspires you to create using this lovely Digi stamp! See you all soon and Keep crafting!!! Products used are:-

Hoping your weekends are up to a good start... For this month's second challenge, INSPIRATION STATION took the most wonderful theme, Be Kind! And as soon as I saw it, I came up with a CAS design idea in my mind- colorful & impactful. Let me show you how I made it; Starting it directly on an A2 white card base, I used post-it roll tape and masked the card front leaving a 1-1/2'' wide space and used distress inks to blend colors in a rainbow order, starting from violet all the way to red. Then, using Kindness stamp from Winnie & Walter, I stamped the two trees using black ink directly over it partially through the colored strip; the distress is amazing for layering things up! For the sentiment, I used the big "Kindness" word and then completed the phrase. To bling up this card a bit, I added a few dimensionals and there you have a Cas card ready in minutes... I hope this simple project inspires you to get crafting... Also, don't forget to participate in this challenge and share your creations. I'll catch you soon again... Keep crafting! PRIMA PHILOSOPHY CHAT NOIR DYE INK PAD 5. JAGS EPOXY DIMENSIONALS LINEN Hola guys! I'm progressing into this week creating with one of my fav interactive dies from Lawn Fawn - Magic picture changer and I'd be using an additional add-on die that would help me create a card to perfectly join in the current challenge theme running over at the INSPIRATION STATION Blog; Desserts! Yummmmm... Let me show you how I baked the cookies; oh! I mean how I made the card, lol! I started by marking the windows of the main picture changer die and the smaller picture changer die onto white cardstock. Then, I used the stamp set to stamp the baking tray with cookie dough on the main one and tray with baked cookies on the other one. Using copics, I colored the images and also colored mice images as well. For giving the look of an oven, I used darker shades to create a box as of the insides of the oven. Now I run these through my big shot and put the whole mechanism thing together. Using the Oven add-on die, I die cut out the little pieces from various colored cardstocks and from silver mirror card as well. Using the add-on die, I used the cover for the slider piece to act as the front of the oven. Next, I simply put together all the tiny tots and details. I took paper from the paperpacks to make the wall and the floor of the kitchen! Lastly, I added the sentiment and finished the card... I hope this awesome interactive card would have been mouth-watering enough for you to try and don't forget to participate in this challenge. Enjoy the week and... Keep crafting!
