Ahoy matey! I'm in the full pirate and voyager spirit today. My cousin is having a baby shower and I decided to make a card for her new journey. I think this is so in time for the mistique challenge theme board for this month's INSPIRATION STATION - Ocean and Beach! I'm used paper layering for making today's card. Let me show you how I put this card together, it was super fun to make... The hero of my project is the gorgeous and cute paperpack collection by Bob n Betty, Sand Castles! Starting with the pattern paper, I trimmed out 4x5.25" from it with the main emphasis on keeping the adorable bunny looking at the blank ocean. Then, using the provided motif sheet, I cut out the sailor bunny on the ship and also some of the florals and a sentiment to welcome the new member of the family. Then, using foam tape, I layered them as appealing and finally stuck them onto a sand colored card base. The layering over the base pattern gives such a great sense of depth and perspective! I hope this simple project inspires you to create cute cards and make any occasion much more special... Also, don't forget to participate in this challenge. Do share your creations and comment down below, and I'll catch you soon again... Aye-Aye and Keep crafting! ;) The products used are:-
1. BOB N BETTY SAND CASTLES COLLECTION PAPERPACK 2. SCOTCH DOUBLE SIDED ADHESIVE FOAM TAPE 1/2" 3. SCOTCH DOUBLE SIDED ADHESIVE FOAM SQUARES 6MM 4. MUDRA COCONUT CREAM CARDSTOCK
